Architect Sustainable Building (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF100,000 - 105,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a committed professional as Architect Sustainable Building for demanding architectural projects focusing on ecological, economical and socially sustainable building concepts. You will work on projects primarily in the early SIA phases 31-33 and be involved from concept development through design to the approval process. The focus is on design, building law clarifications and ARCHICAD as well as the development of sustainable solutions for institutional clients. The position offers the opportunity to combine sound architecture with energy efficiency, resource conservation and sustainable construction methods.
Responsibilities:
Participation in concept, feasibility and design studies for demanding new build, conversion and development projects
Development of architectural solutions with a focus on sustainable, energy-efficient and resource-conserving construction
Handling architectural projects with a focus on SIA phases 31 preliminary project, 32 construction project and 33 approval process
Preparation and review of building law fundamentals as well as analysis of building and zoning regulations and project-relevant framework conditions
Creation of project, building application and approval dossiers including the necessary plans and evidence
Development of design, project and presentation plans with ARCHICAD as well as structured maintenance of digital planning bases
Preparation of project presentations, variant studies and decision-making bases for clients and planning teams
Integration of requirements for energy, materialisation, embodied energy, circularity and life cycle assessment into project development
Coordination and alignment with specialist planners, authorities, specialist offices and other planning partners
Support in integrating sustainability standards and energy requirements into architecture and planning
Ensuring consistent planning and project quality during the transition between design, project planning and approval
Qualifications:
Completed studies in architecture at FH/ETH level or equivalent recognised qualification
Professional experience in design and project planning, preferably with in-depth knowledge of SIA phases 31-33
Very good user skills in ARCHICAD or demonstrably rapid familiarisation with the software
Knowledge of Swiss building and planning law as well as experience with building applications and approval procedures
Expertise or further training in sustainable building, energy efficiency, circular economy or life cycle assessment is an advantage
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning standards
Fluent German for contact with authorities, project documentation and collaboration with clients
