ICT Network & Infrastructure Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
You are responsible for the standardisation, provision, and support of the company’s own IT as well as the control technology environments of customer installations and actively develop concepts and architecture. In this varied position, you move between Microsoft on-premises and cloud technologies, LAN/WAN networks, and firewall systems, introducing automation where it adds value. Cybersecurity is not a marginal topic for you but an integral part of your work. You work in a well-coordinated team, contribute your ideas to technical development, and ensure stable, secure operations through your analytical and proactive working style.
Responsibilities:
You are responsible for the standardisation, provision, and support of the company’s own IT as well as the control technology environments of customer installations
You actively develop concepts and architecture and drive technical advancements forward
You operate and optimise LAN/WAN networks and firewall systems, preferably Cisco and Fortinet
You deploy Microsoft on-premises and cloud technologies and ensure their stable operation
You introduce automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform where they make sense
Additionally, you consistently consider cybersecurity in your solutions and are on-site with customers domestically when required
Qualifications:
You have completed vocational training as an IT specialist EFZ or a comparable qualification
You have proven knowledge of current Microsoft technologies (on-premises and cloud)
You have solid experience with LAN/WAN networks and firewalls, preferably Cisco and Fortinet
Ideally, you have experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform and an interest in cybersecurity
You convince with communicative, analytical, and goal-oriented skills as well as an independent, proactive, and resilient working style
You have good German and English skills and are willing to travel domestically (driving licence category B)
