Role:
In this position, you are responsible for the secure operation and continuous development of a global network security infrastructure. You work on complex security solutions, support with demanding incidents, and accompany projects related to connectivity, cloud connections, and modern network architectures.
Responsibilities:
Planning, building, and operating global network security infrastructures and solutions
Administration and further development of firewalls, VPN, network segmentation, and secure connectivity
Support in 2nd and 3rd level support for network security systems
Analysis of requirements and development of secure, scalable solutions
Ensuring compliance with global architecture, configuration, and security standards
Optimisation of performance, stability, and reliability of existing security environments
Leading and participating in network security projects, lifecycle activities, and cloud connectivity topics
Further development of security architectures and existing infrastructures
Qualifications:
Completed bachelor's or higher vocational education in computer engineering, computer science, information technology, or comparable technical education
Several years of experience in enterprise network engineering and/or network security engineering
Solid experience with Palo Alto, VPN, network segmentation, and IPSec
Very good knowledge of IDPS, NAC, cloud network security, and wireless security
Good experience with Huawei and Cisco LAN/WLAN components
Good knowledge of routing, switching, MPLS, BGP, and load balancing
Solid knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IP
Experience in architecture, implementation, and further development of complex network security solutions
Practical experience in security monitoring and troubleshooting
Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluent German skills as well as very good English skills, both spoken and written
Strong communication skills and confidence in an international environment
