Role:
As a civil or environmental engineer, you will work on diverse projects in the fields of hydraulic engineering, flood protection, revitalisation and hydraulics. You will accompany projects from conceptual planning through design to construction management and act as an important interface between clients, specialist planners and other project participants. Your technical expertise and enthusiasm for planning and implementation contribute significantly to project success.
Responsibilities:
Handling demanding projects in the areas of hydraulic engineering, flood protection, revitalisation and hydraulics
Development of concepts and technical plans
Execution and evaluation of hydraulic calculations
Use of GIS for planning, analysing and presenting project data
Design of stream projects and facilities for urban water management
Assuming technical project management and construction supervision
Coordination of various specialist planners, contractors and other project participants
Accompanying projects through all planning and realisation phases
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a civil or environmental engineer ETH/FH
Several years of experience in project management of hydraulic engineering and/or urban water projects
Solid knowledge in planning and implementation of hydraulic engineering projects
Experience with GIS, HEC-RAS, HAKESCH, MIKE+, NEPLAN or comparable technical tools is an advantage
Strong interest in technology, planning and project implementation
Independent, structured and reliable working style
High sense of responsibility and quality standards
