SV (Switzerland) AG
SV is a leading gastronomy and hotel management group based in Dübendorf near Zurich. The group operates in several business areas: restaurants for companies and schools, hotels with own brands as well as with other renowned brands as franchisee, public restaurants with innovative concepts as well as gastronomic delivery service and catering. SV employs around 5,500 staff, of whom 3,300 are in Switzerland.
SV traces its origins back to the non-profit organisation "Swiss Association for Soldiers' Welfare" founded in 1914. Else Züblin-Spiller established soldiers' clubs nationwide and served balanced and affordable meals there. The founder's idealistic values are continued today by the SV Foundation. This charitable foundation is the majority shareholder of SV and uses its funds for projects in the field of healthy nutrition and for the common good.
