In this role, you take responsibility for the design, implementation, and further development of modern cloud solutions in the field of system engineering. You analyse complex system landscapes, plan scalable architectures, and ensure stable, secure, and high-performance operation of cloud infrastructures. You apply your profound expertise to optimise existing environments, drive automation, and ensure high availability. You work closely with internal stakeholders, translate requirements into technical solutions, and ensure these are realised efficiently and reliably. As a Senior System Engineer Solutions Cloud, you make technical decisions, set standards, and drive the continuous improvement of the technologies and processes used.
Responsibilities:
You design IT infrastructures together with our customers and implement them independently as well as in a team
In this role, you develop solutions in cloud and on-premise environments so that our customers can focus on their core business
As a Senior System Engineer, you are the main contact person for your assigned customers and work closely with deputies, helpdesk, and experts
You recommend new acquisitions and develop ideas for new IT projects based on the needs of our customers
In this role, you shape the future of EcoLogic together with your colleagues and influence the IT portfolio
You evaluate relevant technologies and contribute suggestions on how we should develop as a company
Qualifications:
You have an IT education at FH/HF level, a degree, or an EFZ as an IT specialist in system technology or a comparable qualification and bring extensive practical experience
You are highly proficient with Microsoft client and server products as well as Microsoft 365 and have applied and deepened this knowledge in practice
You have solid experience in managing server virtualisations with VMware
You continuously further your education, deepen your specialisations, and actively share your knowledge with your team
You are passionate about IT and elegant technical solutions and bring humour in dealing with yourself and others
You speak fluent German.
