In this role, you are responsible for the development, operation, and continuous optimisation of modern network, DevOps, and virtualisation infrastructures. You work with Linux, automation and orchestration solutions, as well as various virtualisation technologies, ensuring stable, secure, and scalable operations.
Responsibilities:
Development, implementation, and operation of robust and scalable network and DevOps infrastructures
Automation of recurring tasks with Puppet, Ansible, and Terraform
Further development and operation of the virtualisation platform based on Apache CloudStack
Automation and optimisation of operational processes within the virtualisation environment
Monitoring system performance and ensuring reliable operation
Analysis and resolution of complex faults, error states, and performance issues
Further development of monitoring, orchestration, and deployment processes
Support with topics related to container runtime platforms
Participation in the continuous optimisation of network, security, and infrastructure components
Qualifications:
Completed degree in computer science or comparable qualification
Several years of practical experience in the operation and development of network and DevOps infrastructures
Solid knowledge of Linux, networks, and IT security, for example Debian, Ubuntu, Juniper, or Fortinet
Experience with monitoring, orchestration, and automation solutions such as Zabbix, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, or Jenkins
Experience with virtualisation technologies such as Proxmox, Apache CloudStack, or VMware
Interest in and ideally first experience with container runtime platforms
Strong analytical skills for structured handling of complex faults
Independent, responsible, and solution-oriented working style
Good German and English skills
