Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF125,000 - 130,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for client advisory and client representation in demanding new build and renovation projects in building construction. You will accompany clients from project strategy and requirements definition through planning and realisation to handover into operation and represent their interests vis-à-vis planners, contractors and authorities. You will be responsible for the overall management of quality, costs, deadlines and project risks and create reliable decision-making bases for the clients. Additionally, you will take responsibility for acquisition and client development within the Swiss construction and real estate sector.
Responsibilities:
Development of project strategies, project goals and requirements definitions together with the client
Assuming client advisory and client representation for renovation and new build projects in building construction
Establishing suitable project organisations, decision-making processes and project management tools
Overall control and monitoring of planning, tendering and realisation
Responsibility for cost, schedule, quality and risk management on the client side
Coordination and management of architects, specialist planners, project managers, contractors and other specialists
Preparation of feasibility analyses, variant comparisons, decision-making bases and project reports
Support for acceptances, commissioning and handovers as well as structured handover of construction projects into operation
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, Swiss construction processes and project-specific requirements
Advising clients on awards, contract issues, project changes and strategic project decisions
Acquisition of new clients and projects as well as active maintenance and development of existing client relationships
Building and maintaining a professional network with clients, authorities, planning offices and players in the real estate sector
Qualifications:
University degree as Architect FH/ETH, Civil Engineer FH/ETH or comparable higher qualification
Several years of experience in client advisory, client representation or project management of Swiss building construction projects
Sound knowledge in project development, planning, realisation and commissioning of new build and renovation projects
Experience in cost, schedule, quality and risk management as well as in managing interdisciplinary project teams
Existing network in the Swiss construction and real estate sector as well as experience in acquisition and client development
Sound knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning and construction processes
Fluent German skills; French, Italian and English skills are an advantage
