Successfully implementing complex IT projects requires technical know-how, foresight, and leadership skills. We are looking for an experienced professional who designs modern infrastructure platforms, takes responsibility for strategic projects, and actively drives innovative technologies forward.
Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the design, operation, and continuous development of modern IT infrastructures
Overall responsibility for infrastructure, cloud, and migration projects
Planning and implementation of highly available Microsoft and hybrid cloud architectures
Introduction of modern technologies in cloud computing, virtualisation, and automation
Technical project management including coordination of external partners and internal departments
Optimisation of security, backup, and disaster recovery concepts
Support with complex architectural decisions and technical escalations
Introduction of standardised processes according to ITIL and best practices in infrastructure management
Evaluation of new technologies and development of future-proof infrastructure strategies
Qualifications:
Education in computer science or comparable technical qualification
Several years of experience as a system engineer in an enterprise environment
Experience as a technical project manager or sub-project manager
Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware or Hyper-V
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, PowerShell as well as automation solutions
Good knowledge of network, storage, and security technologies
Strong communication skills and entrepreneurial thinking
Interest in modern technologies such as cloud native infrastructure, infrastructure as code, Kubernetes, Azure Arc, and DevOps methods
