Network & Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Role:
Exciting role in network engineering focusing on modern LAN, WLAN and security infrastructures. We are looking for an experienced individual who plans, implements customer solutions and ensures secure and stable operation.
Responsibilities:
Planning and implementation of network environments with switching, WLAN and firewall technologies
Design of WLAN solutions including access point planning, coverage and capacity optimisation
Installation, configuration and operation of switch networks
Establishment of redundant network connections and optimisation of existing infrastructures
Implementation of firewall concepts, access controls and network segmentation
Analysis and resolution of LAN and WLAN faults at customer sites
Ensuring availability, security and monitoring of network environments
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science or comparable technical education
Several years of experience in network engineering and infrastructure operation
Very good knowledge of LAN, WLAN and WLAN security
Experience with Cisco and Fortinet technologies
Knowledge in network monitoring, ideally with PRTG
Independent, customer-oriented and solution-focused working style
Willingness to undertake customer assignments within Switzerland
Fluent in German
