The Thermal Operations unit's mission is to guarantee SIG customers a quality supply of thermal energy, while ensuring continuous operation within a safe framework. It maintains production facilities as well as heating and cooling networks throughout the canton of Geneva.
Your energy serving a sustainable Geneva
As a Thermal Solutions Architect (IT/OT), you contribute, through your expertise, to the development, operation and security of industrial control systems as well as the IT/OT infrastructures of thermal networks. Your tasks will be as follows:
- Ensure the availability, reliability and security of IT/OT computer systems in compliance with cybersecurity requirements;
- Manage the evolution of computer systems in accordance with cybersecurity standards and frameworks;
- Implement cybersecurity requirements based on the NIST framework;
- Participate in the configuration, administration and maintenance of IT and OT environments;
- Administer and secure virtualisation infrastructures as well as various networks;
- Define and deploy operational processes and standards related to industrial systems;
- Write technical documentation and provide functional support;
- Collaborate with maintenance providers and partners working on the systems;
- Contribute to the upskilling of operations and maintenance teams on systems, data and cybersecurity aspects.
Your personality and skills
You enjoy teamwork and demonstrate an innovative spirit. Curious and autonomous in your learning, you are interested in IT technologies and industrial systems. Organised and rigorous, you have good analytical and synthesis skills. You are recognised for your communication skills and open-mindedness.
- Proven experience in managing IT and OT systems;
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructures, IT security and cybersecurity frameworks, notably NIST;
- Knowledge of automation and industrial control environments;
- Experience in administering systems, networks and virtualised environments.
Your academic background:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science or automation, accompanied by 5 to 10 years of professional experience;
- or an equivalent qualification complemented by significant professional experience in the field.
