Role:
In this role, you actively shape the architecture and engineering of information security, ensuring a robust, future-proof security level. You are responsible for the design, further development, and integration of secure solutions across the entire IT and system landscape. You analyse complex requirements, derive viable security architectures from them, and coordinate these with relevant stakeholders. You identify risks early, assess them thoroughly, and define appropriate technical and organisational security measures. Through your expertise, you contribute decisively to holistically protecting information assets and continuously optimising the security architecture.
Responsibilities:
You develop robust security concepts for servers, networks, storage, cloud, and virtualisation environments.
You translate technical and professional requirements into reliable security designs and accompany their implementation through to acceptance.
You design identity, authorisation, and trust solutions around IAM, PKI, MFA, and zero-trust approaches.
You analyse new technologies, conduct technical assessments, and realise prototypes as well as proofs of concept.
You coordinate architectural decisions with customers, engineering teams, and other stakeholders and ensure comprehensible technical documentation.
Qualifications:
You have completed a degree in computer science, cyber security, electrical engineering, or a comparable technical field.
You bring several years of experience in security engineering, cyber architecture, or a related technical environment.
You are familiar with modern security concepts such as zero trust, IAM, PKI, MFA, network segmentation, and secure-by-design.
You possess strong analytical skills and can independently work through complex technical issues to resolution.
You communicate fluently in German and well to very well in English and impress with a professional, responsible demeanour.
