Automation Technician (m/f/d)

Role:
Discover a position at the interface of automation, robotics and industrial electronics. In this role, you take responsibility for demanding projects in the field of electrical test technology and contribute to the development of innovative solutions. You work in a dynamic environment with state-of-the-art technologies and actively participate in optimising industrial processes. Your tasks require technical understanding, precision and a solution-oriented mindset. You will be supported by a motivated, professional environment that offers room for independent work.
Responsibilities:
- In this role, you are responsible for the mechanical, pneumatic and electrical assembly of special machines and their components
- You programme machine sequences and adapt them specifically to customer requirements
- As an automation technician, you professionally set up control cabinets and integrate them into existing systems
- You carry out commissioning and function tests in the factory and prepare the machines for preliminary acceptance
- On site at the customer, you take over the final commissioning of the systems and ensure a smooth process
- You provide technical support in case of malfunctions and participate in service assignments worldwide (travel approx. 10-20%)
Qualifications:
- Completed training as an automation technician, electromechanic, electronics technician or polymechanic
- Experience in assembly work and commissioning in mechanical engineering
- Good knowledge of pneumatics and electrical engineering, especially in mechanical engineering
- Strong communication skills with fluent German and good English skills
- You enjoy teamwork and customer contact and always appear helpful
- You convince with your open manner and a solution-oriented way of thinking
