SOC Security Analyst (m/f/d)

An established company with a sophisticated IT landscape is seeking an experienced professional in the field of cyber security. In this role, you will take a central position in detecting, analysing, and handling security incidents and actively contribute to securing the digital infrastructure against current threats.
You will work closely with internal security and IT specialists as well as external partners. In addition to operational security monitoring, you can contribute to the further development of security processes, tools, and projects.
Responsibilities:
Analyse, assess, prioritise, and document security incidents
Monitor and manage central security systems and monitoring solutions
Investigate suspicious activities and support containment and remediation of security incidents
Coordinate with internal departments, security officers, and external service providers
Develop solution proposals and decision bases based on current security requirements
Participate in the evaluation of new security technologies as well as in projects and the further development of security processes
Qualifications:
Completed technical training or further education in computer science, cyber security, or a comparable field
At least three years of professional experience in cyber security analytics, threat hunting, or security operations
Broad understanding of modern cyber security concepts and knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
Experience with SIEM, monitoring, and security analysis solutions
Knowledge of relevant security frameworks and methods such as MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
