Community Kitchen Assistant AFP (M/F/D)

Are you passionate about catering and enjoy working as part of a team to delight numerous guests every day? We are looking for one of our clients, a well-known institution in the Lausanne region, for a motivated kitchen assistant to strengthen their team.

Your playground:

• Culinary preparation: You assist the cooks in preparing hot and cold dishes (peeling, cutting, basic cooking).

• Plating and setup: You participate in the neat presentation of plates and the organisation of buffets for service.

• Hygiene and safety: You ensure the meticulous cleaning of the kitchen, equipment, and dishwashing area, strictly adhering to HACCP standards.

• Logistics: You lend a hand with receiving, checking, and storing goods.

• Training: You hold a Federal Certificate of Vocational Training (AFP) as a kitchen assistant or an equivalent qualification.

• Experience: You have proven experience in community catering (nursing homes, hospitals, company restaurants, or school canteens).

• Personality: You are dynamic, meticulous, and possess an excellent team spirit.

• Stamina: You have good physical condition and can keep calm during busy service periods.
