Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a committed professional to start in project management building services heating at an established engineering company. You will accompany demanding heating projects from concept and planning to realisation and gradually take on your own project responsibility. You will develop technical solutions, conduct feasibility and cost analyses, and coordinate collaboration with clients and other specialist planners. The position offers an attractive development opportunity for trained building services planners aiming to take the next career step towards project management.
Responsibilities:
Gradual assumption of project management for heating systems from planning to successful realisation
Development and dimensioning of heating systems and building services installations for new build and refurbishment projects
Preparation of concepts, feasibility studies, and variant comparisons from technical and economic perspectives
Conducting cost calculations, cost estimates, and profitability analyses for heating projects
Handling relevant SIA project phases including planning, tendering, execution, and commissioning
Creation and processing of CAD plans and technical project documents, preferably with CAD Nova
Coordination of projects with clients, architects, specialist planners, and contractors
Coordination with interdisciplinary departments of HVACSE building services to ensure coordinated overall solutions
Monitoring and documentation of deadlines, costs, and quality throughout the project duration
Support with tendering, offer comparisons, and awards as well as technical evaluation of contractor offers
Application of relevant SIA standards, energy, and building services regulations in planning and project design
Qualifications:
Completed training as building services planner heating EFZ
Initial professional experience in planning and project design of heating systems, ideally with first own project tasks
Good knowledge of heating technology, system planning, and dimensioning as well as relevant Swiss standards and regulations
Knowledge of SIA project phases and basic understanding of cost, schedule, and quality management
Experience with CAD systems, knowledge of CAD Nova is an advantage
Interest in professional development towards project manager building services, for example with further education at HF or FH level
Very good German language skills for technical documentation and project management
