Role:
A modern workplace is created through thoughtful architecture and consistent automation. This is exactly where you come in as an Endpoint Security Engineer. You are responsible for the technical foundation of the client and mobile platform within Microsoft 365 (M365) and make architectural decisions with foresight. Your aim is an environment that functions securely, stably, and scalably. You critically evaluate new technologies and deploy them purposefully.
Responsibilities:
You design the endpoint management strategy and specifically develop the architecture of Microsoft Intune.
You standardise enrolment, provisioning, and configuration of devices and drive zero-touch processes with Windows Autopilot.
Furthermore, you automate packaging, software distribution, and administrative processes with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph.
You develop release and patch strategies for Windows clients and ensure their controlled implementation.
During migrations and rollouts, you take on technical leadership and create standards for operations.
Additionally, you analyse complex faults down to the root cause and test new security and endpoint solutions in proof of concepts.
Qualifications:
You have at least 5 years of experience in endpoint or workplace engineering and know Windows 10/11 inside out.
You are proficient in device enrolment, mobile application management (MAM), and configuration profiles.
You also have solid knowledge of Windows Update for Business, update rings, and security baselines.
You write sophisticated scripts and ideally already use Graph-based interfaces for automation.
You administer Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive routinely and understand their interaction with identity and security.
Moreover, you think analytically, tackle problems persistently, and communicate confidently in both German and English with professionals and users.
