Role:
For an internationally active energy and infrastructure company in the Basel / Muttenz region, we are looking for an experienced accounting professional. You will take responsibility for several companies, ensure reliable financial statements and work closely with controlling, treasury and other finance functions.

Responsibilities:
Preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and OR
Independent management of the general ledger and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
Coordination and clarification of intercompany transactions
Handling of VAT, provisions and accruals
Preparation of financial reports and ad-hoc analyses
Support of audits and optimisation of existing accounting processes
Qualifications:
Commercial training with further education in finance and accounting or degree with a finance focus
Several years of experience in accounting or financial bookkeeping
Solid HGB knowledge; IFRS is an advantage
Experience with group structures and intercompany topics welcome
Very good Excel skills and experience with SAP, ideally S/4HANA
Very good German and English skills as well as a structured, analytical working style
