You want to get to know a machine not only in the factory but also get it running at the customer’s site? For our client, we are looking for a technically versatile personality who assembles customer-specific systems worldwide, commissions them, and accompanies them until acceptance. You can expect a role with direct customer contact and around 40-50% travel.
- You check mechanical, electrical, and control technology functions.
- You accompany test runs, rectify deviations, and lead the system up to customer acceptance.
- You systematically search for the cause of faults and implement solutions on site.
- You train the operating and maintenance personnel in handling the system.
- You document your assignments and pass on technical insights to the team in Switzerland.
- You bring practical experience in mechanical or plant engineering and understand mechanical as well as electrical contexts.
- You approach fault finding and commissioning in a structured manner and work independently at the customer’s site.
- Knowledge in control technology, drive technology, or Beckhoff/TwinCAT is an advantage.
- You communicate confidently in German and can communicate well with international customers in English.
- You enjoy travelling and are open to worldwide customer assignments of around 40-50%.
- You accompany customer-specific machines until the moment they run reliably at the customer’s site.

Profile
- You have completed training as an automation technician EFZ, polymechanic EFZ, mechatronics technician, or in a comparable technical profession.- You bring practical experience in mechanical or plant engineering and understand mechanical as well as electrical contexts.
- You approach fault finding and commissioning in a structured manner and work independently at the customer’s site.
