Our client is a successful and long-established family cheese dairy in the Bernese Jura near Biel.
The company produces high-quality cheese and butter products and is one of the few manufacturers of Tête de Moine AOP.
The products are exported worldwide. Modern technology, clearly structured processes, and high quality standards characterise the operation.

Head of Logistics and Packaging Food Industry Bilingual FR DE Region Biel

You take overall responsibility for logistics and packaging in a food company
  • You lead a team of 40-60 employees and develop it purposefully
  • You ensure that logistics, product safety, and traceability are guaranteed at all times
  • You plan and control all processes in the warehouse as well as the use of packaging and auxiliary materials
  • You analyse key figures and optimise processes purposefully
  • You actively work with the ERP system and continuously improve processes
  • You take on deputy duties in the packaging area if required

    We expect:
  • Completed training in logistics or comparable, for example logistics specialist EFZ
  • Experience in a leadership role, ideally in production or food environment
  • Good knowledge of packaging technology
  • Experience in handling food as well as knowledge of relevant hygiene and quality requirements, especially GMP and HACCP
  • You work in a structured manner and take responsibility
  • You make decisions and implement them in everyday life
  • You speak good French and can communicate in German
