Abalone Switzerland, active in personnel placement and recruitment in Romandy, is currently seeking for one of its clients in the Vaud region, a workshop joiner (m/f), specialised in wooden windows.

Workshop Joiner / Window Manufacturing – 100% – Vaud

Your main responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting technical plans
• Cutting, planing and machining wood
• Manufacturing and assembling wooden windows
• Using traditional and digital workshop machines
• Fitting hardware and making adjustments
• Sanding and preparing for finishing
• Quality and dimension control of the workpieces
• Adhering to safety instructions and machine maintenance
• Participating in the organisation and upkeep of workshop cleanliness

Your profile

• Training as a joiner / cabinetmaker or equivalent experience
• Experience in workshop joinery, ideally in window manufacturing
• Good command of working with solid wood
• Comfortable with workshop machinery
• Able to work independently and precisely
• Attention to detail, care and pride in a job well done
• Team spirit and good organisation
