Operations Engineer IT Infrastructure (m/f/d)
Our partner offers WLAN and Network Access Control solutions and software development. The strengths of our ROCKEN partner lie in the evaluation, planning, implementation as well as the operation and support of WLAN and Network Access Control solutions.
Role:
As an Operations Engineer IT Infrastructure, you maintain a demanding IT infrastructure stable and develop it technically further. The focus is on Linux systems and virtualised server environments. You independently plan changes, upgrades and migrations and implement them cleanly. Additionally, you participate in customer projects, both remotely and directly on site. A role with much technical depth and real responsibility in the operations environment.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the stable operation, maintenance and expansion of the internal IT infrastructure.
You independently plan changes, patches and upgrades and carry them out in a controlled manner.
Furthermore, you contribute to the technical implementation of customer projects.
You handle solution- and product-related support requests at 2nd level.
In addition, you manage virtualised server environments based on VMware.
You also create technical concepts, feasibility studies and operational documentation.
Qualifications:
You have completed training as an IT specialist EFZ or have a comparable qualification.
Extensive practical knowledge in Linux and server virtualisation distinguishes you.
You have solid experience in system and network technology.
You analyse complex problems in a structured way and derive a viable solution strategy.
Independent, systematic working and a customer-oriented manner are natural to you.
Additionally, you communicate confidently in German and manage well in technical exchanges in English.
