Strategic Buyer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement: Development and implementation of long-term purchasing strategies to reduce costs and optimise supplier relationships
Supplier Management: Building and maintaining strategically important supplier relationships as well as conducting supplier audits and evaluations
Market Analysis: Continuous monitoring and analysis of market trends, raw material prices and innovation potentials in the packaging sector
Contract Negotiations: Leading negotiations with national and international suppliers considering price, quality and delivery conditions
SAP MM Application: Use and further development of SAP MM processes to improve purchasing and inventory management
Internal Coordination: Close collaboration with production, quality management and logistics departments to coordinate project requirements and delivery times
Qualifications:
Education: Completed commercial or technical basic training
Further Education: Successfully completed further training as a purchasing specialist (federal diploma)
Professional Experience: Several years of purchasing experience in industry
SAP Knowledge: Sound knowledge of SAP MM and the application of corresponding purchasing processes
Analytical Skills: Strong numerical understanding and ability to comprehend complex procurement markets
Communication Skills: Convincing negotiation skills and strong team spirit
Language Skills: Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
