Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Operational management and further development of national security platforms
- 2nd and 3rd level support with on-call duty (7x24)
- Consulting and support for support teams and customers
- Assuming various system responsibilities
- Partial responsibility in project teams (planning, conception, development, installation, configuration)
Qualifications:
- Solid operational experience in security operations and engineering with strong analytical skills
- At least 5 years of practical experience in planning, conception, engineering, implementation, and operation of security solutions
- Good knowledge of proxy systems, remote access systems, firewall systems, as well as network and analysis on OSI layers 4-7
- Knowledge in IPSec, SSL-VPN, IDS/IPS, Syslog, SOAR, F5 WAF, Splunk, Tufin, PRTG, and/or willingness to learn these
- Recognised IT security certifications (CISSP, CEH, CompTIA, etc.), vendor certifications from leading security manufacturers are advantageous
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
