Company Description
We are looking for one of our clients, a Programming Methods Technician to develop programmes for the company’s machining equipment, ensuring optimal manufacturing quality
Job Description
- Creation of complete programmes using FAO CREO and GIBBSCAM software, any other FAO software also welcome
- Several years of proven experience in machining on machines (turning, milling) with expertise in ISO and FAO programming
- Participate in the development of manufacturing instructions for the machining part
- Basic knowledge of CAD on CREO is welcome
- Simulation and optimisation of programmes
- Fine-tuning on machines with setters, and monitoring of pre-series until production launch
- Creation of assembly sheets and bill of materials for parts and tools
- Provide technical support in the workshop to mechanics
- Actively participate in the integration of new machining machines
- Position is PERMANENT
Profile Sought
- Be trained as a ES Technician in microtechnology, or BTS or even a Degree in Production Engineering
- Have solid experience in FAO programming and in the manufacture of mechanical parts
- Have excellent knowledge of CNC Milling and Turning, knowledge of CNC finishing machines is a plus
- Excellent skills in reading plans.
- Have a good mechanical technical sense to find quick and effective solutions.
- Be comfortable with computer tools
- Have excellent communication skills to liaise with the BT and machining workshops
- Team spirit, and be proactive in the context of continuous improvement
