Head of Real Estate Accounting - Geneva - Permanent Contract

As part of a recruitment for one of our clients, a property management company based in Geneva, we are looking for a Head of Real Estate Accounting.

A role with significant responsibility, ideal for a profile who values both team management and real estate accounting and wishes to develop in a professional and dynamic environment.

Reporting to the Property Management Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the real estate accounting department and supporting your team in their daily activities.

Your main responsibilities will be as follows:

- Support, supervise and unite a team of accountants;
- Manage the organisation of the department and ensure its smooth daily operation;
- Plan activities, monitor deadlines and ensure timely completion;
- Monitor the quality and performance of the service as well as the achievement of quantitative and qualitative objectives;
- Participate in the preparation and monitoring of budgets;
- Act as the contact for property owners during meetings and communications, in collaboration with the Property Management department;
- Analyse activities and provide regular reporting to the Property Management Director;
- Identify areas for improvement and contribute to the evolution of processes and the organisation of the department.

Your profile:

- You have solid experience in real estate accounting in Switzerland;
- You have proven experience in managing and supporting accounting teams;
- You are proficient in the Quorum software;
- You are capable of organising and prioritising your work effectively in a demanding environment;
- You have excellent communication skills and are comfortable with both internal and external contacts;
- You are recognised for your leadership, rigour, autonomy and organisational skills.
