Project Manager HVAC (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial professional for the independent planning and management of demanding building services projects in the heating and sanitary sectors. You will take responsibility for diverse construction projects across the relevant SIA service phases and ensure technically high-quality, economical, and timely project processing. The focus is on independent project management, the creation of precise CAD planning documents, and the active acquisition of new clients and projects. The position combines solid building services expertise, strong project management skills, and entrepreneurial action with the opportunity to build long-term client relationships and actively shape business development.

Responsibilities:

• Independent planning and handling of demanding building services projects in the heating and sanitary fields across the relevant SIA service phases

• Assuming technical, organisational, and economic project management from the initial project idea through planning to professional support during realisation

• Development and elaboration of building services system concepts considering functional, energetic, technical, and economic requirements

• Creation and processing of CAD plans, installation schematics, and technical detailed documents as a basis for precise and coordinated project planning

• Execution and verification of technical calculations and system dimensioning to ensure efficient and demand-oriented design

• Coordination and alignment with clients, architects, specialist planners, and contractors to ensure interdisciplinary coordinated planning

• Organisation and control of internal project processing including task planning, resource coordination, and monitoring of project progress

• Responsibility for adherence to project costs, planning deadlines, and quality requirements as well as early identification and handling of technical and economic deviations

• Preparation of technical project documents, cost estimates, and tender bases to support further planning and contract awarding

• Active acquisition of new clients, planning mandates, and building services projects as well as identification of additional business opportunities within the existing client environment

• Building and maintaining long-term client and business partner relationships through competent technical advice and professional project communication

• Ensuring compliance with relevant Swiss SIA standards, energy regulations, and building services quality standards as well as continuous optimisation of planning and project processes

Qualifications:

• Completed further education as a certified technician HF in building services with a specialisation in heating or sanitary or a comparable recognised technical qualification

• Several years of proven professional experience in the planning and design of building services systems with solid practice in independently handling heating or sanitary projects

• Good knowledge of Swiss planning and construction processes as well as the relevant SIA service phases with experience in technical project management and interdisciplinary coordination

• Confident use of common CAD applications and digital planning tools as well as experience in creating technical drawings, installation plans, and building services project documents

• Strong entrepreneurial thinking and commercial understanding with interest in client acquisition, business development, and long-term client relationship management

• High quality and cost awareness as well as an independent, structured, and responsible working style with strong organisational talent and solution-oriented thinking

• Good to very good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as communication strength, negotiation skills, and a confident, professional appearance towards clients, architects, specialist planners, and business partners
