Senior IT Support Specialist (f/m/d)

On behalf of our client based in Neuchâtel, with a planned transfer to La Chaux-de-Fonds from March 2028 and regular travel to several sites in French-speaking Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior IT Support Specialist (f/m/d) responsible for providing N1/N2 local IT support while contributing to the improvement and automation of support operations.
Your mission
- Handle N1/N2 technical or application incidents and requests from start to finish, from diagnosis to resolution and follow-up with users.
- Provide local support at various sites mainly located in the cantons of Neuchâtel, Vaud, and Fribourg, organising interventions according to priorities and business impact.
- Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft environments, including Windows, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Intune, and Defender.
- Design, adapt, and maintain scripts, notably in PowerShell or Python, to automate recurring tasks, ensure reliable operations, and improve support efficiency.
- Assist users in using their tools, promote IT best practices, and coordinate interventions with internal teams or external partners if necessary.
Your profile
- At least 5 years of experience in N1/N2 technical and application IT support, with good autonomy in managing incidents end-to-end; experience in a multi-site environment is a significant advantage.
- Proficient in Windows and Microsoft 365 environments, with solid knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory as well as good basics in Entra ID, Intune, and Microsoft Defender.
- Practical experience in scripting, ideally in PowerShell or Python, with the ability to understand, modify, create, and maintain automation scripts.
- Strong fundamentals in network and security related to user support, including connectivity, VPN, MFA, and access management; fluent French is essential and technical English is appreciated.
- Demonstrate autonomy, organisation, initiative, and excellent service sense, comfortable with interlocutors at different levels and hold a driving licence for regular travel between sites.
