Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced project architect for the design and planning management of demanding building construction projects. You will be responsible for projects from the feasibility study and design through the building application to the execution planning, combining high architectural quality with constructive and economic feasibility. In the SIA phases 3-5, you coordinate specialist planners, authorities, and clients and manage the projects regarding deadlines, costs, and planning quality. The role offers close collaboration with management, project team, construction management, and site supervision.
Responsibilities:
Independent project management of architectural and building construction projects from feasibility study to execution planning
Development and further elaboration of design, aesthetic, and usage concepts considering the construction framework conditions
Responsibility for planning and coordination within the SIA phases 3-5
Creation and management of construction projects, building applications as well as execution and detailed planning
Coordination of specialist planners, experts, and internal project staff and ensuring consistent planning bases
Leading consultations with clients, authorities, and approval bodies during the project and approval phases
Responsibility for schedule planning, cost control, and planning quality assurance within the assigned projects
Conducting plan and interface coordination between architecture, structural engineering, and building services engineering
Development of constructive solutions considering design, materialisation, cost-effectiveness, and feasibility
Close collaboration with construction management and site supervision to ensure continuous planning through to realisation
Support during execution and handling of plan changes, detailed questions, and planning optimisations during the realisation phase
Qualifications:
Completed architecture degree FH/ETH or comparable university qualification
Several years of experience in project management of Swiss building construction projects
Sound knowledge of the SIA phases 3-5 as well as the Swiss planning and approval process
Proven experience in design, building application, execution planning, and specialist planner coordination
Good knowledge of construction, materialisation, as well as cost and schedule control
Knowledge of ArchiCAD is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
