Do you want to actively shape the future of Green?
Shape one of the largest datacentre projects in Switzerland.
Overall responsibility as client representative for the development and realisation of a strategic datacentre major project – from several construction sites through the central energy and site infrastructure to a planned datacentre capacity of around 300 MW and an investment volume in the billion range.
Your area of responsibility
- Overall responsibility for the management and coordination of the entire project across all construction sites as well as infrastructure and energy projects
- Ensuring the overarching project objectives regarding costs, deadlines, quality, safety, permits, risks and stakeholder requirements
- Leadership and coordination of the responsible project managers for Plot A, Plot B, Plot C and Plot Energy
- Ensuring an integrated overall schedule and managing dependencies and critical milestones between the individual subprojects
- Managing interfaces between project development, engineering, construction, procurement, finance, legal, operations and commissioning as well as with external partners and authorities
- Ensuring and continuously developing a uniform project governance, decision-making structure, project control and reporting system
Monitoring overall project costs and forecasts as well as managing major contracts, changes and financial project risks - Managing overarching project risks, escalations and goal conflicts as well as driving critical project decisions
- Developing well-founded decision bases and management reports for executive management, CEO, board and owners
- Ensuring clear responsibilities, accountabilities and decision paths within the overall project organisation
- Representing client interests vis-à-vis planners, general contractors, suppliers, energy providers, authorities and other strategic partners
- Ensuring consistent and target-group-appropriate communication towards management, owners, authorities, partners and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring a structured handover of the individual subprojects to commissioning, operations and customer fit-out
Your skills
- Several years of leadership experience in overall management and realisation of complex major projects in the high triple-digit million to billion range, preferably in the datacentre, industrial, energy or infrastructure sector
- Proven experience as client representative, overall project manager, programme director or in a comparable senior project role
- Experience in leading and managing multiple parallel subprojects as well as interdisciplinary project teams
- Strong competence in project control as well as cost, schedule, risk, contract and change management
- Experience in collaboration with executive management, board, owners, authorities and strategic project partners
- Strong entrepreneurial thinking as well as high decision-making, leadership and assertiveness skills
- Ability to structure complex contexts, set priorities and develop well-founded decision bases for management
