Your Tasks

• You operate and further develop the datacentre and cloud infrastructure by implementing technical solutions yourself.
• You actively shape the architecture and ensure its continuous development with a focus on availability, scalability, security, standardisation, and cost-effectiveness.
• You evaluate new technologies and architectural approaches and integrate them into the existing infrastructure.
• You carry out changes, maintenance work, updates, and patch management on the infrastructure components.
• You work in internal 3rd level support and problem management on complex technical issues.
• You plan, control, and optimise the lifecycle of the infrastructure.
• You identify capacity bottlenecks, technical risks, and optimisation potentials and independently implement appropriate measures.
• You technically accompany infrastructure projects and migrations and implement them from conception to handover.
• ? You ensure compliance with security policies, architectural guidelines, and operational standards.
• ? You identify potential vulnerabilities and actively handle security incidents.
• ? You support the CISO in security, compliance, and risk topics and implement the resulting technical measures.
• You monitor the defined KPIs and ensure a high service quality.
• You continuously document and improve operational and infrastructure processes.
• You identify and implement automations to increase stability, quality, and efficiency.
• You promote knowledge transfer and support the team technically.

Our Requirements

• You have several years of practical experience in operating datacentre, private cloud, or hybrid cloud infrastructures.
• You have sound knowledge of modern datacentre and cloud architectures and enjoy implementing them yourself.
• You have a holistic technical understanding in the areas of compute, storage, network, virtualisation, backup, and security.
• You have experience in the conception, implementation, and further development of highly available ICT infrastructures.
• You are experienced in lifecycle, patch, change, and problem management.
• You know relevant security standards, especially ISO 27001.
• You understand relevant data protection requirements, especially DSG and GDPR.
• You have knowledge in network security and identity & access management such as IAM, Zero Trust, and VPN.
• You have a high security awareness and recognise technical risks early to implement appropriate measures.
• You have a hands-on mentality, initiative, and enjoy tackling technical challenges yourself.
• You can combine operational experience with sustainable architecture and technology decisions.
• You work in a structured, independent, and solution-oriented manner with a high sense of responsibility.
• You are a team player and enjoy active knowledge exchange.
• You are willing to work occasional evenings and weekends as well as participate in on-call duty.
• You hold a valid category B driving licence.
