Architect (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 110,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a FH Architect / Project Manager for Refurbishment & Renovation for the comprehensive handling of diverse construction projects. You will accompany demanding refurbishments, renovations and restorations from preliminary design through planning and construction management to final billing. You will take responsibility for costs, deadlines, execution quality and coordination of the involved companies and authorities. The position combines architecture and project planning with practical construction management and cost planning in existing buildings.
Responsibilities:
Independent planning and management of refurbishment, renovation and restoration projects of various sizes
Handling projects from preliminary design through construction design and execution to final billing
Creation and coordination of project, approval, execution and detail plans
Conducting condition surveys and developing technically and economically suitable refurbishment and conversion concepts
Preparation of cost estimates, quotations and budget controls
Preparation and execution of tenders, pricing and awarding to executing companies
Taking over on-site construction management including coordination and control of the involved trades
Responsibility for schedule planning, cost control and quality assurance during construction
Conducting construction meetings, execution inspections, acceptance and defect management
Coordination and communication with clients, authorities, specialist planners and contractors
Review of quantities, change orders and contractor invoices as well as preparation of the final account
Ensuring the application of relevant SIA standards and Swiss building regulations in refurbishments and renovations
Qualifications:
Completed studies as an FH Architect or comparable higher professional qualification
Several years of professional experience in architecture, project management and/or construction management, ideally in refurbishment and renovation projects
Sound knowledge in execution planning, building construction and building in existing structures
Experience in cost planning, tendering, awarding and final accounting
Good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Native-level German for client contact, authority procedures and project documentation
Category B driving licence
