Role:
You want to not only operate cloud architecture but actively shape it? As a Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer Azure, you determine how a Microsoft Azure platform develops technically. Your standards combine stability, security, and efficiency. Automation with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is second nature to you. When it gets critical, you keep calm and provide technical direction.
Responsibilities:
You design landing zone concepts and establish principles for subscriptions, resource groups, and resources.
Complex network architectures with Private DNS, firewalling, VNet peering, and routing are your responsibility.
You build access and identity models with Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, and app registrations.
Additionally, you further develop Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and Windows 365 within the Microsoft cloud.
In demanding incidents, you lead the analysis across compute, network, and security layers.
You also drive proofs of concept for new cloud technologies and continuously make the landscape safer, leaner, and more cost-efficient.
Qualifications:
You bring several years of solid practical experience in engineering demanding Microsoft cloud and infrastructure environments.
You confidently use Infrastructure as Code with Terraform or Bicep as well as PowerShell for complex automations.
Furthermore, you are familiar with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics and develop well-thought-out logging and alerting concepts with them.
You have experience with high availability, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery for business-critical systems.
Moreover, you are well acquainted with Windows Server and hybrid scenarios up to Microsoft 365 (M365).
You also understand dependencies between identity, networking, and security and make well-founded architectural decisions based on them.
