Head of Accounting (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF105,000 - 120,000Our ROCKEN partner is a traditional family business. For over 50 years, our partner has relied on the combination of stability and innovation. The construction company currently employs over 500 people at several locations in Switzerland.
Role:
As Head of Accounting at our ROCKEN partner, you lead a two-person team and are responsible for key tasks around activations, depreciations, and closing activities. You coordinate subprojects and further develop the ERP system and related processes. You work closely with procurement and support topics in leasing and vehicle management. The start date is by arrangement.
Responsibilities:
You lead your two-person team and support it in opening and maintaining asset data.
You carry out monthly depreciation runs and activations and reconcile the corresponding postings.
You code and approve creditor invoices and take on various reconciliation tasks in the general ledger.
You coordinate and lead the year-end closing activities in asset accounting and inventory and work operationally.
You manage subprojects in asset accounting and contribute to their implementation.
You maintain and further develop the ERP system in the area of asset accounting. This includes coordinating and testing annual updates and analysing and documenting processes and interfaces.
You work closely with the procurement department and support the handling of leasing issues as well as vehicle management.
Qualifications:
A completed commercial education and very good accounting knowledge form your professional foundation.
You bring leadership experience and practical experience in assisting with annual financial statements.
You combine analytical and interconnected thinking with an independent, precise, and goal-oriented working style.
You are very confident in using MS Office.
Knowledge of Abacus applications for asset accounting, financial accounting, and project management is desirable.
Experience in project work ideally complements your profile.
French or Italian language skills are an advantage.
