In this role, you actively shape international IT projects and contribute your expertise in virtualisation, storage and backup systems, Exchange services as well as Linux and Windows environments. You work with modern cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and M365, are responsible for the secure and stable operation of servers and networks, and deploy monitoring solutions purposefully. You handle the installation, configuration and expansion of physical and virtual systems both on-premise and in the cloud. Additionally, you evaluate new technologies, develop prototypes in the cloud environment and help design architectural concepts to realise highly available and secure solutions. With your responsible and independent working style, you make a decisive contribution to professionally implementing demanding customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
You support IT projects and are responsible for the operation and further development of server, network and cloud environments
Together with the team, you further develop IT services and cloud solutions and participate in architecture decisions
Your focus is on secure, highly available and reliable solutions
Qualifications:
Completed IT apprenticeship or comparable further training
Very good knowledge of VMware, Hyper-V, backup, Linux and Windows Server as well as good experience with Exchange/Exchange Online
Practical experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, Microsoft 365 and solid knowledge in network, firewalls and monitoring
Willingness to travel within Switzerland and Germany
