You work on IT systems for safety-critical customer installations in the rail and process industries and accompany these from technical conception through implementation to ongoing operation.
In the area of networks and cybersecurity, you support the development of new solutions and contribute to their continuous technical advancement.
For customer installations, you take on tasks in monitoring, maintenance and fault analysis and support customers as well as internal departments with technical queries.
You deal with virtualisation, backup and monitoring and simultaneously develop internal systems such as GitLab, remote access solutions and server environments.
You evaluate new technologies and tools for their applicability, accompany their introduction and document systems and relevant operational processes comprehensibly.
Qualifications:
Your foundation is a completed vocational training as IT specialist EFZ, automation technician EFZ or a comparable technical education.
You are already pursuing or wish to start a part-time degree in computer science at HF or FH level.
Initial knowledge of networks, IT systems or cybersecurity is present; experience with VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, Windows Server or monitoring tools is especially welcome.
Industrial IT environments interest you and you work independently, reliably and with a high willingness to learn. Fluent written and spoken German; French skills are an advantage.
