Geomatics Technician (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a specialist for versatile tasks in geomatics and surveying. You capture, process and document precise geodata and support demanding projects in engineering and infrastructure construction. You work with modern surveying instruments, CAD and geographic information systems and create reliable foundations for planning and construction execution. The position offers a technically varied environment with modern methods of digital surveying.

Responsibilities:

• Carrying out surveying work for construction and infrastructure projects

• Capturing, processing and analysing geodata and surveying data

• Creating and editing 2D and 3D CAD plans

• Conducting construction, terrain and inventory surveys

• Using modern GNSS, total station and 3D surveying systems

• Preparing and managing geodata in GIS systems

• Creating digital terrain models, site plans and elevation models

• Supporting civil engineers, project managers and site managers with surveying basics

• Performing staking out and control measurements on construction sites

• Documenting and quality assuring the collected surveying data

Qualifications:

• Completed training as a Geomatics Technician EFZ or comparable training in surveying/geomatics

• Professional experience in surveying, geomatics or engineering surveying

• Good knowledge of CAD, especially in creating and editing plan documents

• Experience with GNSS, total stations, 3D surveying and GIS

• Knowledge of geodata processing and digital terrain models

• Driving licence category B advantageous

• Very good German language skills
