For an IT service provider with demanding hosting and cloud solutions, an experienced professional is sought who designs, operates, and strategically develops complex ICT infrastructures. In this role, you combine sound technical knowledge with customer orientation and economic thinking and take on the technical leadership of diverse infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring stable, secure, and economical operation of complex ICT services and system landscapes
Further development of server, network, cloud, and hosting infrastructures as well as business-critical platforms
Design of technical architectures and definition of standards for operation, security, and system integration
Technical leadership of infrastructure, cloud, hosting, and migration projects
Optimisation of backup and recovery concepts, change and problem management, as well as monitoring and performance
Technical consulting of customers and internal stakeholders as well as support of knowledge transfer within the ICT team
Qualifications:
Completed education or training in computer science, business informatics, or a related technical field
Several years of experience in operating and further developing complex ICT infrastructures, ideally in hosting or managed services environments
Profound knowledge in the architecture of server, network, cloud, and security solutions
Experience in the technical leadership of demanding infrastructure or transformation projects
Certifications in areas such as Microsoft, Azure, VMware, Linux, ITIL, or security are advantageous
Customer-oriented, structured, and implementation-strong personality with good German skills and English skills at B1/B2 level
