Finance and Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

What is my role?

• Management of financial and property accounting including subsidiary ledgers for debtors, creditors and assets (via Garaio REM and Abacus)

• Monitoring and handling of all payment transactions, LSV

• Creditor process: coding, checking and approval of invoices in the digital workflow (via Nextway/ Kofax)

• Debtor and rent collection

• Payroll runs, daily allowance accounting, salary certificates

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

• Accruals, bad debt provisions, account reconciliations

• Preparation for audits, cooperation with the audit office

• Activation of fixed assets and construction accounts,

• Value added tax returns

• Annual reconciliation/ calculation of VAT rates per property, withholding tax

• Heating and ancillary cost accounting

• Maintenance of master data, personnel data, chart of accounts, opening of new financial years, properties and ancillary cost periods

• Optimisation and further development of processes in accounting and financial reporting

• Analysis of accounting data, participation in budgeting and reporting

• Documentation of accounting processes and controls (ICS)

What do I need to be successful?

• Commercial basic training with further education in finance and accounting

• Several years of experience in independently managing accounting up to the annual financial statement

• Experience in property accounting

• Confidence in financial statements and balance sheets

• Analytical and data-oriented thinking, affinity for numbers

• Independent, precise and efficient working style

• High sense of responsibility, discretion and integrity

• Very good knowledge of Abacus and Garaio REM

• Experience with digital document processing, workflow and archiving solutions

• High digital affinity and openness to automation and AI-supported applications
