Your mission and responsibilities
In this key role within GIM, you are the trusted partner of the head of service and managers for all matters relating to the judicial and extra-judicial litigation of the service, providing the necessary legal expertise, mainly in the field of tenancy law.
Your main responsibilities are as follows:
- Manage, control and coordinate the legal unit to ensure the implementation of the objectives defined by the City of Geneva and the Service Directorate.
- Assist and support the head of service and managers in legal matters, as well as in drafting regulations and/or directives.
- Ensure the proper management of the service's litigation files.
Your profile
- Hold a master’s degree in law or an equivalent qualification.
- Holding a lawyer’s licence is an advantage.
- Demonstrate proven professional experience in team management.
- Have proven experience in the field of tenancy law.
- Be organised and rigorous, with ease in interpersonal contacts.
- Have perfect command of French, both spoken and written, and maintain simple, clear and humane communication.
- Have excellent command of common IT tools (Word, Excel), Quorum (an advantage).
