About the job
As an HR Business Partner, you support several production sites (NE, JU, VD) and advise employees on their human and organisational challenges. Very present on the ground, you travel daily between sites located several dozen kilometres apart to ensure close HR support.
Our client is a leading international group operating in a high-end environment, recognised for its expertise, quality standards, and operational excellence. Its activities in Switzerland rely on multicultural teams and production sites combining technical expertise, innovation, and high value-added professions.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you act as a close HR partner for several production sites. The role requires a strong presence on site and daily travel between different sites located several dozen kilometres apart.
You support employees throughout their journey, from onboarding to development, and handle individual and collective situations while ensuring compliance with Swiss labour law, internal policies, and HR processes.
You identify current and future skills needs and contribute to the development of employees and apprentices. You participate in the implementation of training pathways to ensure the sustainable transfer of know-how and critical skills.
In collaboration with the Senior HR Business Partner, you contribute to talent and succession reviews, particularly for key roles. You participate in developing the talent pool and collaborate with Talent Acquisition teams on strategic recruitments.
You manage the main HR processes within your scope, including performance reviews, salary adjustments, and budgeting exercises. You also contribute to workforce planning based on production capacities and anticipate needs in critical or pressured roles.
You analyse HR data such as headcount, mobility, attrition, or absenteeism to identify trends, anticipate needs, and make recommendations to inform management decisions.
As a true business partner, you advise site management and managers on their human and organisational challenges. You support them in their HR decisions, coach them in their managerial approach, and help maintain a positive and engaging work environment.
Finally, you participate in organisational changes and transformation projects within your scope, ensuring alignment between operational needs and the organisation’s overall strategy.
Candidate Profile

- You are highly mobile and willing to travel daily between several production sites, located several dozen kilometres apart, to ensure regular presence and real proximity with on-site teams.
- You have excellent business acumen and know how to translate operational challenges into pragmatic, high value-added HR solutions. Comfortable with HR data and workforce-related indicators, you use them to support decision-making.
- A credible and solution-oriented partner, you know how to advise, challenge, and influence stakeholders at different hierarchical levels. You are able to go beyond process application to propose responses adapted to the organisation’s needs.
- You have a genuine interest in people development, talent management, and know-how transfer. Your excellent interpersonal skills, active listening, and situational intelligence enable you to quickly build trustful relationships.
- You master Swiss labour law as well as key HR processes, including recruitment, performance management, and compensation.
- You are fluent in French, have a good level of English, and possess excellent writing skills. A driving licence and regular mobility between different production sites are required.
