To ensure the continuity of educational services during short to medium-term absences, the Early Childhood Service is strengthening its pool of itinerant pre- and after-school staff.

Several permanent positions are available, with activity rates between 50% and 90%.

Main Mission(s)
Ensure the replacement of socio-educational staff within our children’s life centres (CVE) and municipal school-age childcare centres (APEMS) in the City.
Support groups of children individually and collectively, respond to their fundamental needs, and ensure their safety.
Implement the educational project of the relevant childcare structure.
Participate in activities that contribute to the child’s development and promote socialisation.
Lead activities and outings with the entire educational team, appropriate to the children’s ages.
Actively participate in the monthly meeting of the replacement pool team.
Profile
Diploma as an Early Childhood Educator ES/HES or socio-educational assistant, or other qualifications recognised by the SCAJE competency framework (Cantonal Childcare Service).
Proven experience within a children’s community with groups of various age ranges (0-12 years).
Flexibility and strong adaptability required.
Versatility and strong team spirit.
Good interpersonal skills and communication sense.
Proficiency in French, spoken and written (level B2).
Special Conditions
Clean criminal records (ordinary and special).
Start Date
1st October 2026 or by agreement.
