Project & Financial Controller (m/f/d)

Role:
You want to connect controlling not only with numbers on the screen but directly where projects are planned, implemented, and managed? In this role, you accompany projects throughout their entire lifecycle and ensure that costs, services, margins, and risks are always transparent. You work closely with project and site managers, question developments, and derive concrete measures. At the same time, you have plenty of room to further develop reporting, key figures, and digital processes.
Responsibilities:
You accompany projects from order acceptance to completion and check calculations, budgets as well as the correct project structure
You analyse costs, working hours, performance statuses, productivity, and margins and present relevant developments transparently
You assess project progress, remaining costs and result forecasts, taking into account open commitments and possible risks
You identify early cost overruns, margin losses, and billing risks and initiate appropriate measures together with those responsible
You monitor performance and time recordings as well as change orders and unbilled services
You prepare project evaluations and analyses for monthly and annual financial statements
You further develop key figures, reports, and controlling instruments and ensure a meaningful data basis
You optimise ERP-supported processes and support the introduction and further development of digital solutions
You assist with training and further development of users and participate in cross-departmental projects
Qualifications:
You have a commercial or technical basic education with further training in controlling, finance, and accounting or business administration; alternatively, a corresponding degree with practical experience
You bring several years of experience in project controlling or a comparable role, ideally in the construction or project-oriented environment
You are familiar with cost accounting, preliminary and final costing, remaining cost forecasts and project margins
You work confidently with Excel, ERP systems, and reporting tools and enjoy handling large data volumes
You have very good German skills and good French skills
You are willing to travel regularly within Switzerland
