Financial Accountant (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF90,000 - 105,000Role:
In this role as a financial accountant, you take on a central function in the finance department and are responsible for operational accounting matters of the Swiss companies. You work with a strong hands-on mentality, actively shape processes and structures, and maintain close communication with management. You can expect a dynamic environment with short decision-making paths, little bureaucracy, and a high degree of creative freedom. Responsibilities:
- You take responsibility for the general and subsidiary ledgers including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and asset accounting
- In this role, you prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to Swiss GAAP (OR)
- As a financial accountant, you plan liquidity, prepare budgets, reports, and analyses in close cooperation with your supervisor
- You prepare and reconcile VAT returns as well as intercompany reconciliations
- In this role, you participate in finance projects and continuously optimise processes
- As a financial accountant, you prepare payroll accounting in collaboration with external service providers
Qualifications:
- You have a commercial education with further training in finance (federal diploma in finance, or currently in training) or an equivalent qualification
- You bring several years of professional experience in accounting and are confident in preparing financial statements according to Swiss GAAP (OR)
- You have very good MS Office skills, especially in Excel, and ideally already work with SAP Business One; knowledge of Lucanet is an advantage
- You work in a structured, independent manner and find solution-oriented ways
- You are characterised by a pronounced hands-on mentality as well as entrepreneurial and proactive thinking
- You communicate fluently in German and well in English; knowledge of French is an advantage
