Role:
You keep systems running that are business-critical for customers - both on-premises and in the cloud. Your perspective goes beyond mere operation: you design solutions from the outset to be secure and highly available. In projects across national borders, you work with a wide variety of technologies and people. At the same time, you help shape how the service and cloud portfolio develops further. For those who seek breadth rather than a one-way street, this is an exciting environment.
Responsibilities:
You contribute to national and international IT projects
You operate, monitor and expand server and network environments at the customer site as well as in the cloud
You drive the further development of IT services and the cloud offering
You participate in architectural decisions and ensure secure, highly available provisioning
Additionally, you regularly travel to customers in Switzerland and Germany
Qualifications:
You have completed an IT apprenticeship or a comparable further education
You are very familiar with virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) and backup systems and have solid knowledge of Exchange or Exchange Online
You have a high level of proficiency in Linux and Windows Server
You have experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and Microsoft 365
You bring in-depth network knowledge (TCP/IP, WAN/LAN, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls) as well as experience with monitoring systems
You work reliably, independently and flexibly, are willing to travel and communicate very well in German as well as well in English
