Finance and Accounting Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)
Our ROCKEN partner offers system solutions and products for the packaging industry. The Swiss company operates worldwide and provides customers globally with high-quality products and system solutions through its expertise.
Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a globally leading provider of measurement, testing and inspection systems for the plastic packaging industry with a global presence and headquarters in Brügg (BE), we are seeking an engaged, reliable and independently working specialist by arrangement. You will take on a central role in the group’s finance and accounting and independently manage the financial accounting of the assigned domestic and foreign group companies. In this versatile role, you will also deputise for the head of financial accounting and actively contribute to the further development of processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
You independently manage the financial accounting of the assigned domestic and foreign group companies and ensure reliable, timely financial reporting
You are responsible for accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting, payment transactions and dunning
You prepare and monitor liquidity planning
You independently prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and participate in the budgeting and forecasting process
You contribute to finance-related projects and actively engage in the further development and optimisation of processes and systems
You deputise for the head of financial accounting, ensuring smooth operations in their absence
Qualifications:
You have a solid education in finance and accounting, ideally as a specialist with a federal diploma
You bring several years of relevant professional experience and are accustomed to independently managing financial accounting
You quickly grasp connections, take responsibility for your topics and think beyond your own area of responsibility
You work very independently, in a structured and reliable manner with a strong sense of responsibility and a high affinity for numbers
You are characterised by analytical as well as entrepreneurial thinking
You have very good knowledge of MS Office applications, experience with ERP systems as well as very good German and English skills
