Civil Engineer (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 120,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced specialist in structural design in structural engineering with a focus on reinforced concrete construction. You will develop static concepts, carry out structural calculations and dimensioning, and accompany demanding building projects from planning to realisation. In addition to structural planning, you will take responsibility for tendering, technical site management and project coordination. The position combines solid civil engineering knowledge with project responsibility and professional support of project teams.
Responsibilities:
Development and responsibility for static concepts and structural solutions from planning to completion
Planning and dimensioning of structures in reinforced concrete construction, especially reinforced concrete and masonry constructions
Execution and documentation of structural calculations, verifications and dimensioning according to relevant SIA standards
Development of economical, technically optimised and feasible structural concepts
Structural detailing of structures and coordination of interfaces between structural engineering, architecture and building services engineering
Preparation of tenders, specifications and technical project documents
Professional leadership and support of engineers and draftsmen within project teams
Assumption of technical site management and construction supervision for demanding building projects
Execution of quality controls and assessment of structural issues directly on site
Coordination and alignment with architects, specialist planners, authorities and contractors
Ensuring quality, deadlines and technical project requirements during planning and realisation
Use of digital planning tools and coordination of CAD/BIM planning bases, especially in the Allplan environment
Qualifications:
Completed studies as a Civil Engineer FH/ETH with a focus on structural engineering or comparable specialisation
Several years of professional experience in structural design and statics in building construction
Solid knowledge in reinforced concrete construction, especially in the dimensioning of reinforced concrete and masonry structures
Very good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss planning and construction processes
Experience in project management and professional coordination of building projects
Confident use of MS Office; knowledge of Allplan or comparable CAD/BIM software is an advantage
Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
