Role:
The traditional Swiss media company is one of the leading providers of legal information. The broad range includes specialist books, commentaries, professional journals, and digital information solutions for lawyers and other professionals from science and practice. Responsibilities:
You independently manage accounting for creditors, assets, and fees and support ongoing financial accounting.
A focus of your work is debtor management, especially monitoring outstanding receivables as well as dunning and debt collection procedures.
Together with the team, you handle tasks in the general ledger and periodic closings and compile the necessary audit documents.
You support liquidity monitoring and financial planning and step in to assist in other accounting areas as needed.
Qualifications:
Your professional foundation is a qualification as a finance and accounting clerk or ongoing training towards the Swiss federal diploma.
You have several years of professional experience in financial accounting and are familiar with closing tasks and VAT accounting.
You are characterised by an independent, systematic, and well-organised way of working.
Even under high workload, you work accurately and efficiently and contribute flexibly to the team.
You communicate confidently in German and have good French and English skills.
