An established IT team is seeking reinforcement for the technical support and further development of the modern workplace application landscape. The focus is on automated software delivery, application lifecycle management, and continuous optimisation of the digital workplace.
You will take on an important interface role between application managers, internal IT teams, and external service providers. In addition to technical engineering tasks, you will bring your experience in PowerShell and application packaging to projects and ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
Ensuring professional application delivery throughout the entire lifecycle
Development and maintenance of Windows 11 application packages and automated installation solutions
Implementation of software distributions with MECM, MSIX, and App-V
Gathering and evaluating technical requirements in collaboration with the responsible application managers
Analysis and resolution of complex incidents, problems, and changes in 2nd-level support
Management of external suppliers as well as support for workplace projects, planned maintenance, and on-call services
Qualifications:
Training as an IT specialist or comparable several years of professional experience
Several years of practice in application engineering, software packaging, or workplace engineering
Experience with application virtualisation and deployment technologies such as App-V, MSIX, and MECM
Sound knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office products
Very good knowledge of PowerShell and PSADT; experience with PolicyPak is an advantage
High customer orientation, careful and independent working style, as well as very good German language skills in spoken and written form
