Multiskilled Biomedical Analysis Technician - Technical and Preanalytical H/F

Unilabs is the largest provider of medical laboratory diagnostics for prescribers and hospitals in Switzerland and employs around 800 people.

Your Tasks

As part of our activities within a laboratory operating 24/7, we are looking for a versatile person capable of working both in the technical sector and in preanalytical activities. This 80% position is aimed at someone wishing to develop in a dynamic, demanding environment strongly focused on service quality.

Your Profile

Your responsibilities

• Perform clinical chemistry, haematology, immunology-haematology analyses according to current procedures.
• Use and monitor laboratory automation, perform maintenance, calibrations and quality controls.
• Receive and register samples in the laboratory information system (LIS).
• Check the compliance of requests and samples and manage non-conformities.
• Carry out centrifugation, aliquoting and preparation of samples for analysis.
• Organise shipments to other sites or specialised laboratories.
• Ensure traceability of operations and compliance with quality and safety requirements.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of technical and preanalytical processes.

Your profile

• • Diploma as a biomedical analysis technician ES or equivalent qualification,
  • Strong knowledge in biomedical analyses, ideally in haematology and immunohaematology.
  • Good understanding of preanalytical phase requirements and sample compliance criteria.
  • Experience with laboratory automation and IT tools.
  • Fluent oral and written command of French.
  • Availability to work variable hours for a 24/7 laboratory, including early mornings and late evenings, as well as to eventually join an on-call system.
